Following the principles over profit philosophy of other successful business leaders, Barry believed that if you provided customers a quality built home, at a better price, and treated customers with respect always following good, honest principles, our business would be successful.

Now, three decades later, Americas Home Place is the largest independent custom home builder in the country with 40 Building Centers and Model Centers located throughout the south and more opening all the time to serve the growing need for quality, custom homes throughout the region.

Our mission at Americas Home Place is to make the home building experience a positive one for our customers. 3 out 5 new customers, in fact, are referred to us by satisfied former customers. Since 1972, we have been building custom homes for families who have their own land, with home plans ranging from the $80,000's to $300,000+.
